2001 Ford E-450 Super Duty, designed by Road Rescue

Medic 4 is state licensed as a transporting ALS rescue vehicle. It carries all equipment necessary to provide advanced emergency medical services.

Equipment includes:

  • Zoll full-function 12-lead cardiac monitor with defibrillation and pacing capability

  • Advanced Life Support equipment, including intravenous (IV) fluids and supplies, Pediatric equipment, and ALS medications

  • Basic Life Support equipment, including intubation equipment, emergency childbirth equipment, 100% Oxygen, and BLS medications

  • Trauma equipment, including MAST trousers, air splints, HARE traction splint, cervical collars, backboards, and first aid equipment

  • Fire/Rescue equipment, including two SCBA bottles, sawzall, miscellaneous tools, water rescue equipment


 

Medic 4's primary function is to respond to calls for EMS service in the Pascoag Fire District when Rescue 4 is not available. It also responds to all reported building fires and water rescues within the District, in addition to any other calls when appropriate. It may respond out of the district by request for EMS calls or for firefighter rehabilitation at fire scenes

Medic 4 is housed in the Main Street fire station.
