About the Pascoag Fire District

The Pascoag Fire District is the agency responsible for public fire prevention and fire protection in the village of Pascoag, Rhode Island.  The District is divided into several divisions and subdivisions, all of which are necessary to provide the appropriate protection for the taxpayers of Pascoag.


The Board of Fire Commissioners is a group of officials elected as the chairpersons of the Fire District.  They oversee all operations and expenditures of the District.

The Administrative Division of the Pascoag Fire District is responsible for the annual collection of fire taxes.

The Fire Chief, John DeFusco, is in charge of all Fire Department operations within the District.  This includes fire protection, fire prevention, EMS operations, and communications.

The Pascoag Fire District holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00PM at the Howard Avenue Fire Station.  An annual meeting is held on the second Monday in September every year.  Both meetings are open to the public.


Tax  Information
Tax bills are mailed in November every year, and are due on December 15 every year.  The current tax rate is $1.48 per thousand dollars of property value.
